Sportiq 6-Month Manufacturer Defects Warranty
Effective Date: Date of Purchase
1. Warranty Coverage
Sportiq guarantees that all products purchased from our store are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase. This warranty applies solely to manufacturer defects and does not extend to accidental damage or misuse.
2. Coverage Details This warranty covers:
• Manufacturer Defects: Any flaws in materials or workmanship that arise under normal use conditions, including but not limited to structural defects, assembly errors, or material failures.
3. Exclusions This warranty does not cover:
• Accidental damage, including but not limited to drops, spills, impacts, or any other incidents resulting in physical damage to the product.
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, improper storage, or failure to follow care instructions.
• Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations made by any third party not authorized by Sportiq.
• Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic changes that do not affect product functionality.
• Loss, theft, or damage resulting from external environmental factors such as extreme temperatures, moisture, or exposure to chemicals.
4. Claim Process To initiate a warranty claim:
a. Contact Us – Reach out to our customer service team at info@sportiq.com.au within the warranty period.
b. Provide Proof of Purchase – Submit a valid receipt or order number to verify the purchase date.
c. Describe the Issue – Provide a detailed description of the defect, including photographs if possible. Upon assessment, if the claim is approved, Sportiq will offer one of the following remedies:
• Repair – If the defect can be rectified, we will repair the product at no cost. • Replacement – If repair is not feasible, we will replace the product with the same model or a comparable one.
• Replacement – If repair is not feasible, we will replace the product with the same model or a comparable one.
• Refund – In cases where repair or replacement is not possible, we may issue a refund equivalent to the purchase price.
5. Heated Clothing
Our warranty covers manufacturing faults in heated garments and accessories. Before submitting a claim, please fully charge and correctly connect the battery, and obtain confirmation from the battery supplier that the battery is not faulty. If you provide this proof, we’ll arrange a return for assessment. Where a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we will provide your choice of a full refund or an exchange (subject to stock availability).
This warranty does not cover batteries (which are warranted by their supplier), damage from misuse or neglect, use with incompatible batteries/chargers, water or liquid ingress, accidental damage, modifications, commercial use, or normal wear and tear. Change-of-mind and sizing issues are handled under our standard returns process and require return at the buyer’s expense. 6. Additional Information
• This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
• The warranty period does not reset or extend following a repair or replacement.
• This warranty is provided in addition to any rights the consumer may have under applicable local consumer protection laws.
